1960's Rickenbacker Re-neck

The head had been broken off twice by the airlines, so I completely replaced the neck. I removed the old fingerboard and installed it on a new 3-piece blank. I used a new Gotoh truss-rod so the neck could be more easily adjusted. The neck is mortised into the body several inches, so I had to excavate the old one with a drill press and a chisel. With the new truss rod and set-up, it plays better than new.
